BRITE (Business Register Interoperability Throughout Europe) is an Integrated Project co-funded by the European Commission, DG Information Society & Media. BRITE involves a consortium of 22 organisations including European Business Registers and Chambers of Commerce, IT Companies, Universities and SMEs. It aims to develop and implement an innovative interoperability model, ICT service platform and management instrument for Business Registers to interact across the EU.
I was retained by the European Business Register (EBR), the co-ordinator of the project, to carry out a mid-term review of the project.
